Using the oldest version ignition coils

Hey, I was looking at buying some ignition coils but I believe they are the oldest version. My understanding is that the current revision is C. Would it be ok to use these older version ones(they are the very first that came with the 04)? They'd be going on my R3 if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any insight.

With some exceptions (for EU or JP spec RX-8s, or if they are actually counterfeit coils), they are fine to use. The difference is that the latest revision are supposed to last longer. This hasn't actually been proven, but just expect to replace the original revision more frequently.
