Okay guys...

I am new to owning an RX-8... And I've got a question.

I am interested in what trim level I have, I don't know, and the dealership I bought it from received it as a trade. So I don't know what it is.

It's the 2006; 6 speed manual transmission; 6-Disk CD Changer; Bose System, Traction Control; I think it has the neon lights; Black/Red Leather...

Any way to find out?

Sounds like you got a Grand Touring since GT's are the only ones that have Leather...

You get sun roof with GT so you got the good one. i wish I could've given back my sunroof, but at least it's the good one.

Find a nice Mazda dealer and take it in and have them run the VIN # and see what kind of warranty and service history it has. Completed and pending if any.

Eh; I knew it wasn't neon lights, but I didn't wanna look up to see the spelling of xenon.

But thanks for the responses. A couple guys I work with thought maybe it was the Shinka edition; but looking at pictures online of that version; I doubted them

It's a great car, I love to drive it. But I am torn with what to do with the stereo. I am considering two options:

1) Stay factory, add the Sirius radio to it with the OEM kit, and then just get a AUX adapter

or

2) Go aftermarket, I have a Kenwood DNX5140; the only issue with that is that the NAV doesn't work...

Any suggestions?

shinka has the tan seats so definitely not shinka. as for stereo - depends on what you want to get out of it and how much effort you want to put in.
