I have found the 400 Hp RX8.... 2007 C6 A6 Z51
Seriously, I have loved every minute of my 3+ years with my RX8 and this wonderful forum. I will be selling my car when it warms up and will miss it terribly. If I had the money, I would convert it to a full time track car and have lots of fun with it.
Learning from RG and MM on how the car REALLY works, to learning how to Search courtesy of Mugatu to the hundreds of other characters on this site - watching the other Moderators keep this public forum stable and constantly improving. Learning to throttle steer on the track and driving some higher horsepower cars crazy when they can't figure out how I caught up with them by turn 2.
Spin, ZoomZoomH, Paul from DC, you are still likely to see me on the track around the NE ... I look forward to seeing you all again.
Take care everyone and thanks for your humor, insights and comraderie.

The C6 is the first Vette I'd ever want, though as I'm approaching 39, it has a bit of a midlife stigma to it though, if you care about those things. I'm actually afraid to drive one, as it might seal the deal and mess up any early retirement plans!

Damn. I am experiencing envy. That's a FANTASTIC color for the Vette, too.
Please tell fellow Vette heads to take it easy on us in lower thrust cars at red lights, especially when we are with our women.

Congrats on the new C6. Enjoy!
I just drove my bosses brand new 6spd Z06 last weekend. The car was amazingly quick as expected. Power was immediate thoughout the complete rev range. Handling was excellent. Balance and weight transfer were good but not at Porsche or even BMW levels. Feedback through the connection points was poor as usual. Interior has been somewhat improved but still falls short in materials and fit n finish. Engine sound was good if you like that V8 grumble.
It was so much fun - and so very easy - to swing out the back end going around just about any corner!! The Z06 powerband was intoxicating for sure.
Did I mention it was fast?
The new Z06 is a fantastic car, especially for only 65K. Undoubtedly the best bang-for-your-buck performance on the market.
