how fast
kinda new to thes cars so bear with me. 
whats the norm for these cars, i am sure that thes cars can do 13's but is 12 's out of reach?

12s? Hope yur not talkin about stock...be lucky to get into mid 14s by dumpin the clutch @ 8K. As mentioned, anything can be done with the money...but if yur asking about right off the lot...don't hold yur breath. The car is sporty and quick to buzz around, but it's not exactly a muscle car.
And before I put on my flame-retardant suit, I own both an RX-8 and a Cobra...so I'm just talking from experience. I love them both for completely different reasons!
