First I would like to say that I am glad I decided to go to the rotary revolution event this year in Indianapolis, despite the terrible rain. I thought it was a great turn out and there were plenty of rx-8's present. Thank you to everyone that let me ride with them during the autocross, those were experiences I will not soon forget. The procharged Rx-8 from sunflower mazda was there to see again (although not tuned) as were at least 200 other great rotaries. The person giving the RX-8 aftermarket seminar predicted that by this time next year superchargers will be available for the RX-8 through the aftermarket and he also basically confirmed (word on the street) that THERE WILL BE ANOTHER RX-7 COMING. He said that while the new 7 could be turbo or supercharged, he believed that they were going to drop 200 lbs from the weight of the 8 and up the displacement in the Renesis and keep it N/A. I for one am excited! Hope to see more of you Rx-8 guys out there again next year, its really a great event and you will be glad you went.
