wow that car is going to be real beastly, I live in spokane area so I was drooling over that car while it was on CS, I am so glad someone in our community got it.
I really want to go, I have a place to stay, just got to work out gas money and time off from work
as far as the silly awards its just to be fun and silly, the whole thing is going to be laid back

The motor will get raced a lot and RPM and throttle response are really crucial since we are using it for both autocross and track days. High RPM is important to get a good top speed in 2nd and 3rd gear since it has a 4:10 rear end (I think Vettes use a 3:27 or 3:43). Last dyno was 292. Now it should be 430-450 so it should have about 150 more HP and it will pick up 10 extra MPH in 2nd gear because of the raised rev limit.

The cars are completely different w/ a LS motor. Lots of hit down low but feel flat up top to me.
Make sure you have the trans tunnel reinforced as the torque of the LS motor can twist the tunnel with Hoosier R6's. I know as my customer recently went through this problem with his car.
Good luck racing the car.
Sorry for the thread hijack.
