Stock or Aftermarket Cat Back Exhaust - Dayton, OH
I'm looking for a stock cat back exhaust for my 2004 RX-8. I would also consider aftermarket cat backs that aren't too loud.
My MazdaSpeed cat back was messed up pretty badly earlier this year when my RP cat fell apart and clogged it up. (All fixed now with a new ignition setup and new cat.) But it sounds so horrible at mid/full throttle now that I just want something reasonably quiet. I'm just trying to find something workable for a reasonably low price (free to $150 for stock, up to $400 for something aftermarket depending on quality). I'm not sure I'm ready to plunk down $700+ for a Racing Beat after buying RPF1s this year, and a lot of the lower cost exhausts seem iffy to me.
I realize that these things are a pain to ship, so maybe someone not too far away has something. I also have in-laws in NE Ohio that I visit, and I have family in central KY. I'd drive a fair distance to get a decent exhaust.

Thanks, but I bought a custom setup quite a while back (last year). Maybe someone else here would be interested. The Mazdaspeed catback is nice even if it is slightly loud for some people.
