its cost efficient when the stock twins keep going bad. Helghast advised me on this. I may just pick up his car when the time comes if its still around. painting CW or Metropolitan gray mica OR millenium jade mica, i havnt seen a rx7 in that color before. (its the r34 color varient)
Whats done is done with the springs, i just wanted to be ready for sunday.
as for the wheel widths, it depends if i stay on stock body or go with feed fenders, im on the fence about it. some days i really want it and other days i dont.
anyway.. any chance for a caravan on sunday? I know some of you said you were coming.

New stock twins that are kept under 12lbs of boost will not just go bad. I think the problem is that you won't keep it at that level. New twins will also cost you an arm and a leg. Used turbos will always bust earlier than you want. IMO, the cheapest way to make an FD reliable is to...
-Source a reputable motor that was just rebuilt
-New turbos
-Refresh everything in the engine bay
-Reliability mods
-Upgrade IC
-Water injection (ultimate reliability)
-Get that reliable tune
This is not the best bang for the buck though as this is still pretty pricey and your power ceiling is extremely low but if you keep that setup and keep boost at stock or slightly higher than stock levels, this setup will last a very long time.

just messing dave we all know its not running because u have your bike fetish and forgot your roots.1 its not as simple as just buying a skyline........... theres much more to it and thats why u dont see them around
2. before you make all these big plans for the 7 you dont own, you need to own it first. drive it around, you will find out what things are broken, on its way to be broken and things that needed replacement yaers ago. its nothing like the 8 where u want something and boom buy it. with the 7 you buy somethign and then say **** i shouldnt have spent the moeny on x when y broke right as i spend the money for x. now uve just tackled on the typical im goign to "restoreeverythingwhilemycarsitsinthegarageandinev erdriveit" phase.

idk what yore refering to but breaking 300 on a 7 is like peeing into the toilet. its easy and doesnt take much effort.
