I've never used the tire/wheel company. Their website is http://visionspeedworks.com/ You can contact them through there, but from what it looks like they primarily sell specialty wheels/tires.

Will drift for oil.
First off, I am by no way affiliated with the shop, but they've treated me well the many times I've been there so just wanted to inform everyone.
FirstGear Garage in Eden Prairie is doing specials on suspension components at .01 (1 cent) above their cost if you install at their shop in the month of April. I talked to Eric from the shop and he said anything on Tirerack they can get for cheap (possibly other websites as well, but we'd have to ask). Also if you don't want to install at their shop I think it's around 20% above cost of parts which still will be cheaper than buying from Tirerack direct. It's DIY shop with lifts for $35 an hour. They also have a new deal with some a local wheel/tire shop called Vision Speedwerks. See their website for more info: http://www.firstgeargarage.com/index...ction=specials I've done a bunch of installs there so just let me know if you have any questions.

Message to any new members/owners of RX8's. If you haven't already, we now have a Facebook group (MN RX-8) that we have found to be a LOT easier for all us members to stay in touch. If you are new, just look us up on FB.

Newbie
Hey everybody. I'm a newbie here. Just bought my rx-8 a few days ago. I have massive plans for it including a few styling changes. I'll get picks up as soon as I can. In the meantime... how many other guys here from the Twin Cities?

Fantastic. Well I look forward to meeting some people around here with a similar passion for these cars. BTW, what's the best place in town to do mods to your car for a reasonable price if you can't do it yourself?

sounds reasonable. first thing i have to do is get a new set of tires. hope to have the rims and tires by the end of june. after that i need a cold air intake which i already picked out (http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8/Intake...ombo04-08.html), then i was thinking headlights with a halo kit and HID bulbs, then a new exhaust system, and finally a new paint job. Long projects, many hours and lots of dollars to be spent...
i would appreciate any input anybody has for me if you have any.

you are spot on for the head turning appeal. i'm really looking to make it more personal towards my tastes and make it more fun if possible. i am well aware this will not be cheap in anyway shape or form. but it should be a lot of fun.

And I'm not talking about the 50-60 years old woman who drives a red eight in South St Paul.

Will drift for oil.
For us CATless fellows, i have made an air pump delete plate for myself and have left over material to make a lot more if anyone would want one. Made out of aluminum, i've had mine on for a while now and no issues. Let me know if you would be interested because i won't charge much over shipping costs.

Looking for an R3...
Hi all. Any body near the Twin Cities have an R3? I am looking to purchase one, but have not been able to see/sit in the recaros. I want to make sure I fit and that they are comfortable. If possible, it would be great to meet up at a Target or something just so I could check them out.
Thanks
