the regular non-Ram Air version is 33 grand..... who is going to pay near 40 for this?
granted, this is a HUGE step up from the 2004 styling even though that is a good looking car in my opinion.... this one looks like a true muscle car
i'd trade in my RX-8 for this if it was comparable in price, gotta hand it to Pontiac.... after I see the performance numbers

That's freakin' nuts. I finally saw a GTO as I was heading to work this afternoon. I almost couldn't recognize it; it looked like a fleet car.
I would totally see this on the street. Is it just good in straight-line performance, or does it have other merits?

Damn, that's hot--I'd drive that thing in a heartbeat!
Let's see, if I trade in my '04 Sunfire, I'd still be on the hook for like $30K . . . or the price of an RX-8 configured as I'd want it.
No thanks.
Peace

I dig the wheels. They have a really nice look. But don't care for much else. The exhaust looks really weird. In the one photo the tips almost looked fake - weird.

I like holden from the pics I've seen, but pontiac SCARES me. Everyone I've known with a pontiac has had nothing but problems.

Edit: After a bit of research, I found this thread over on gminsidenews. The picture here is a GM Concept car with a 389c.i. engine and ~500hp. The chances that this car actually reaches production in this form are slim to none, but stranger things have happened... Read the thread for more info.

The car is going to have a 6.0L V-8. It is the same engine as the one in the Vette. IF that is just a concept car then I am no longer interested.
However next year my wife and I may want another car, if this car makes it into production looking like this... I may become a Pontiac owner.
That thing is just menacing. Huge rear wheels that let the people that are getting smoked behind you know that this is not a car to jack with.
That exhaust has GOT to go. I would like to see 2 outlets coming out of the center of the rear bumper area.

I had trouble with a Mazda in the past but that didn't keep me from getting the car I wanted. My B2300 sucked, but the 8 is great! Just because I had problems with one vehicle from that manufacturer doesn't mean I can't also get a great vehicle from the same manufacturer. But I do have one manufacturer I'm against so I understand your feelings. I'll never drive another Hyundai because of the problems that I had with my wife's car, 99 Sonata. Interior pieces were flying off all the time.
Hopefully we'll see this car on the road in the future minus the exhaust. It looks worse everytime I see it.

Gorgeous...except for the exhaust. I actually thought about the GTO instead of my 8...but I thought it looked almost identical to a Grand Prix. If it had been this car, I may not have been an 8 owner.

I don't think this is a production based concept. I remember seeing it a few weeks ago and I believe it was built just as a styling exercise to help determine what the '05 should look like.
Anyways, I do like it...except for the exhaust.
