ok so i am zooming up markham road today after sheppard..and boom radar......3rd ticket in as many months...lol

105 in a 60 and no front plate on my car to boot....lol

so the officer does his thing and then asks me about the plate..i have this elaborate story ready about how i just got the cr and the monkey at the stealership was drilling and wrecking the front so i told him to leave the plate for me to install.. the cop looks at me and says the plate really messes up the front ends nice lines...i look at him without hesitation and say..yup he says i know i have an 05 white rx8.....man this is my lucky day...he goes to his car...outcome....no ticket for plate....15 over and a wink"fight the ticket and i might not be there if you know what i mean.....i love this guy!!!!

Your basically screwed... How much do you pay for insurance? I had to put my plate on after I got a ticket & if I didn't a week later I saw the same cop who gave me a thumbs up because he saw my plate on...

I get that a lot from cops also...

i have a great drivng record...9 star...i pay 120 a month for full coverage....i fight my tickets....i have no convictions yet...knowck on wood

Remeber California peeps. 105KM/H in a 60KM/H (while still bad) is equvielant to 65MPH in a 38MPH zone.

I don't agree with that excessive speed, but that road (I travel it daily) is 6 lanes wide and really should be a 70KM/H road. Everyone on it is already doing 80-85 anyway.

but I don't think he's learning from his mistakes...you would think that getting 2 tickets in two months would be enough to slow him down.

LOL, yeah good points. When I got nailed doing 140 in a 100 zone, I think I drove 98 for about a month on the highways.

I still don't push it above 125 (the real speed limit in Ontario)

honestly the car likes to be at 100k no matter where i am, its nuts....i have never gotten pulled over this much....anyway the story was just kinda funny as i got nailed by a fellow 8 owner,,,didnt expect to be on W5 over it....liked being called a dumbass by someone that doesnt know me from Adam though reminds me how easy it is to have ***** over the internet......good times.
