Does anyone know if a flat tire and wheel will fit either in the trunk or in the rear seat?

Assuming you have a flat and install the mini-spare where would you carry the damaged tire/wheel?

Without any actual experience you might be able to fit the full size tire in the trunk if it was totally empty. (just a guess)

You could easily toss the tire in the back seat, I recommend you go buy a couple large garbage bags to not stain/smudge the upholstery.

I managed to fit a full size tire in the trunk quite easily. The trunk looks deceptively small but once you get the wheel through the trunk opening there's quite a lot of space for a full size wheel with room to spare.

That's good information to know. I hope you didn't come by this knowledge through a "bad" experience...
