I would like to ask if anyone noe abt this PI - chuan cars located ard changi lorong 101. they are offering me the RX8 6-speed manual at $108k. Is it a good buy? Is this PI reliable? Does anyone noe if there are other PI that are bring in the 6-speed manual version? Or is it better juz to buy from MM?

Anyone noe the difference btw the 2006 Rx-8 and the current one selling at MM? When is it coming to spore?

Thanks in advance.

Rei,

If you're looking to buy a 6MT, I would suggest you go to MM... Think their price right now is about $115... so that would make about 7K diff.... not alot to pay for, for the peace of mind you'll be getting. Most PI only offer 1 year warranty, whereas you'll get 3 years from MM. If you dont intend to hold the car for that long, than I would suggest you get a 2nd hand one.

anyway, happy hunting

i juz got mine 6mt last yr dec. hmmm... so far no prob. but i actuali save arnd 7k and got xtra 20bhp, though e speed is cut at 180km/h (which i haven't tried before). aniwei, mine is not leather, no electric seat, but wif bose sys. btw, the radio will not work so well, there's bound to be prob. but it comes wif tinted glass. so.... depends what u wan

Most people remove boot spoiler to aftermarket ones or remove it to reduce drag. Not much downforce anyway; i would say negligible even at 100km/h plus.

Headlight washers are limited in practical use and is one more part to spoil and adds weight, spoils the clean lines on the car.

Seat warmers... hmm.. not very practical in hot humid SG...

There are still differences like the factory leather seats, 6 airbags, electric seat, sunroof, auto levelling headlights, boot lock switch in glove compartment, no speed limiter, 3 years and 100,000 km warranty and etc. But of cos still open to individual decision.

Whats a Auto Leveling Headlight?

Cos I only know that the PI one can adjust the headlight level with a control in the car , while the MM one need to use a Screw driver, open the bonnet and adjust it from there.

(mines a MM car)

But PI cars are manual levelling. One thing to add is there is two oil cooler instead of one.
