International list of owners

We're trying to build an international registry of RX-8 owners. Its fun and provides interesting data about RX-8 owners worldwide. The list of owners is growing steadily BUT we have NONE representing Japan/Asia

Get your butts over there

Japan vin format

Yuhki...
webmaster fixed the problem. Try it again and let me know if it works ok or not.

The registry website should have sent you a password. Use that to edit your registration.

Thank you.

I could input SE3PXXXXXXXXXXXXX to the registration form

The vin number format seems different between Japan and other countries.

Our vin number in Japan is 10 characters, on the other hand, all the pepople on that list have 17 character vin number.

Ok we are working on that. Thanks for the feedback.

Also adding High Power and Standard Power in the models. Does the Grand Touring and Sport models apply to the Japan cars.?

Hello, it is very nice to see a lot of owners from various contries are on the list.

I would like to change my "Model" selection to the "Type-S", but the list box does not show the candiate when I enter the reg form from "change your registration" menu.(I know that the canidate will be displayed if I enter from "Register your RX-8" menu.)

Can you help me to change my registration form?
If the change may require some workload, it is ok just to remove my name from the list. Then, I will add my name again to the list

I was a programer before, it was hard to accept all user requests

Just nosing around on this forum... How about adding an Order Date field, since everyone is trying to figure out the relationship between VINS and order date? P.S. - My registration entry seems to have disappeared. Could it have been lost when the site was updated with the VIN correction? I registered last night.

Sorry about that. We lost some recent registrations when apdates to the files were made. Human error. Please go back and register again. Your old password wont work since it was for your original registration that was since lost. Discard that. The autoresponder will send you a new email with your new password when you register again.

Its nice to see so many of you enjoying the website. Soon all the nessesary features will be added and fine tuned.

Cheers
Ian
