I just received the APEXi BOV Kit. Turns out that the flange is steel, and as we know the greddy piping is aluminum. Therefore, the two will not work together.

I tried finding a matching aluminum flange, but it turns out APEXi does not make one.

Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up for anyone else that was interested in purchasing the APEXi BOV.

I called APEXi... they said they do not offer an aluminum flange for their "universal" kit.

I then pointed out that if the kit only comes with a steel flange, and not both... then there is absolutley nothing "universal" about it. The guy on the phone was like "well, i'm sure you can get one made"... JACKA*S

Although... that is now what i'm looking into. Hopefully it won't be too much. I'll report back on my findings.

 

OK.. so i was finally able to have an aluminum flange made from LG Motorsports. They did a great job and went ahead and installed the BOV for me. All at a very, very reasonable price.

Well anyways, I'll get my MD Recorder from work tommorow and post up sound clips tommorow night. I'll post it in a new thread, and just put up a link here.
