View Full Version : Interest Rate?? Goldenhue22 07-16-2003, 12:14 AM For those of you that have your cars...what is the interest rate Mazda is asking for? khoney 07-16-2003, 12:26 AM It will likely depend on your credit score? Goldenhue22 07-16-2003, 12:32 AM True, so let's pretend that the credit score is over 700. Then what would it be? Anyone in that boat? notlih42 07-17-2003, 02:46 PM I took 3.8% from Mazda for 60 mo. pelucidor 07-17-2003, 06:01 PM The 3.8% is not bad! I wonder if Mazda will match/beat the 3.64% from People First (60 months, $36k no deposit). Still not sure if I will lease or finance. Goldenhue22 07-17-2003, 10:03 PM 3.8 is not bad at all. I was expecting Mazda to nail us at around 6.5-7.0%. But 4-5% is reasonable. JR_TX 07-18-2003, 08:35 AM I got 3.49% thru the dealership (Hancock Mazda, Mesquite TX) -- they matched the peoplefirst.com 36 month rate, and offered up to 60 months at that same rate. They treated me well so I went with their program instead of peoplefirst. Tough call, got great service from both. BTW, I LOVE my car! I like it better every time I drive it -- and I liked it the first time I got in. Looking forward to lunch hour so I can go for another drive. (Kind of reminds me of that old saying... Can't wait to look in the mirror, I get better looking each day.) And, Lightning Yellow ROCKS! seikx8 07-18-2003, 11:43 AM How's about Mazda offered me 3.09% for 48 Months with 10k down if I get the theft replacement plan protection, sound? pelucidor 07-18-2003, 01:18 PM Great news - so Mazda credit is competitive if I want to finance but sucks if I want to lease.. Seikx8 - what is you monthly payment after $10k down and how much did that theft protectionplan cost? seikx8 07-18-2003, 01:28 PM Originally posted by pelucidor Great news - so Mazda credit is competitive if I want to finance but sucks if I want to lease.. Seikx8 - what is you monthly payment after $10k down and how much did that theft protectionplan cost? Yes it is very competive. It's help to have the pre-approved loan, and most dealer will try to beat it while negociating sometime of trade off deal and everyone come out to be a winner at the end. With the GT 6M + Nav + Plan + 10K down, my monthly payment come out to be $603 and it's a simple term loan with no penalty of early payment. Originally, I got pre-approved for 4.09%, with same amount down, I still end up paying around ~$580. The theft replacement protection plan I think it's something like $800 for 5 Years which covered the entire loan period; haven't have the time to go over everything yet, was too excited. CraziFuzzy 07-18-2003, 01:39 PM My dealer is offers BofA and Wells Fargo loans, which were both pretty high. We got ours financed through US Bank. They are doing promotional rates at 3.99% right now (though we got ours for 3.49% because my wife works for the bank) Still, 3.99 is pretty good... I don't remember the Credit Score cutoff for this rate though. |
