I was wondering if anyone had the CP Racing triangulated front strut bar? If so, what are your thoughts regarding the bar?

 

I went with MazdaSpeed for 2 reasons. First was the potential for stress cracks from the multi point bar I've seen on a street car. But, more important, how that type of bar would effect the crash dynamics of the car in an unfortunate circumstance (crash). We have to keep in mind the features designed into this car to save our life in an accident. Some bars, struts and other mods that improve performance by increasing structural regidity would significantly alter how forces are absorbed or transferred in a serious accident.

 

Unless something has changed CP hasn't the best reputation in prompt delivery of their products..............

 

i've heard nothing but bad things about CP and their customer service... i went with mazdaspeed :D

 

I have the MS unit. SR Motorsports also makes a 4 pt. strut bar. I have heard that it transfers a bit more vibration into the cabin, & that to me is a big no no, even if it does improve handling a bit more. Like the posters said above, CP Racing has had an awful reputation on this board for delivering their products.

 

im going to have to agree with everyone here...cp racing is crap...and who the hell wants a smurf blue strut bar?
