Thanks all. willhave8 03-21-2005, 08:22 PM How about telling the dealer to take it off? Try the 'aw shucks guys' I didn't ask for this and don't like it on my car... you can get pissy later. dannobre 03-21-2005, 08:24 PM They usually are decals....either die cut....all individual letters...or on a clear background. Carefully pick at the corner with a fingernail...and see if it comes off...It should. Then use some WD40 or solvent to remove the glue...give it some wax...and it's gone! LiL BenNy 03-21-2005, 08:34 PM ummmmmm i had that crap on my car. easy, just use a blow drier... NOT A HEAT GUN it will mess up the paint. took mine off in liek 5 minutes TechnoSapien 03-21-2005, 08:38 PM Great...sounds easy. Thanks for the tip. They should come off pretty easy, its only been on there about 1mo. EZZY 03-21-2005, 11:56 PM should've ask for your permission before they put it on.... but they on earth did they put a "honda" sticker on your mazda? Napboy 03-22-2005, 12:51 AM i'm so glad the dealerships in california don't do this. i noticed that on the east coast, so many cars have this. i guess in the south too. Gambit 03-22-2005, 08:54 AM Heat it up with a hairdryer, the glue won't hold as well then you can get it off GotZoom 03-22-2005, 09:12 AM After the deal is done, they usually want to take the car "back" (service department) and clean it up. I ALWAYS tell them to take off any sticker. If they are nice and ask why, I tell them I prefer not to have any kind of stickers on my car. If they are obnoxious, I ask them if they are willing to pay me to advertise for them as I drive around town. If they are even more obnoxious, I tell them that they will lose the deal if they don't take it off - and I wan t them to do it in front of me so some asshole service guy doesn't do something to the car when it is out of my sight. |
