According to the latest MT mag...they hear that a Turbo RX8 will be comming soon... :D

Note: Sorry If I'm wrong about this (I heard originally it was a SC) because now I can't find the artical or section it stated that....????

 

Several TC and SC rx8's are coming soon....

Just we dont know which is first.

I am pretty sure the first one that comes out to the market will have filled their pockets with money.

Not my money though. Have to wait till I am 18 (1 year 5 months).

Till then I am stuck smoking my friends Mustang GT's at 20 mph roll offs in 1st gear.

I think it has to do with the fact he has 1 year and 5 months till he turns 18, no auto 8 is takin a V8 rust-stang.

 

Yeah the MT article states that "Though it hasn't yet surfaced, a turbocharged MazdaSpeed RX-8 is in the works"

my friends's 2000 corbra smoke the **** out my manuel rx8, his car 0-60 is 5.4 second, i don't even know if our 8 goes 5.9 or it's just a lie, but he sure beat me bad, and we are both 16 .

 

the rx8 is not a drag car. if you want it to be a drag car, get 10-12 grand for an LS6, a tranny, a diff and a driveshaft and drop it in the car then tune it.

 

It depends what year model it is. The most recent GT's (not the new body style) maybe if your lucky but if it was before the body revision then hell yeah he'd beat them. Not all Ford V-8's are fast. Actually hardly any of them are without help.

 

That's nothing, I can smoke a Ferrari with my 8 from a standstill.......










































..........did I mention the guy in the Ferrari was too busy talking on his cellphone and stalled it? LOL :p

 

If your stock the cobra will take you. But with a few mods i give the o fours a run to the end. GT's I look for them. Im not talking about intake,catback mods -canzoomer,nitrous mods=5.2 0-60 on my auto computer- no joke!
And all rx8's are not the same from the dealer.

 

My brother has an 02 Cogra Stang , manual tranny. My manual 8 is not even in the race in a 1/4 mi. I don't care though. If I wanted raw power I would have bought the GTO. That thing is a monster! It will eat the new Mustang Gt for lunch.
