Yes finally. 5sp going for $127k and 6sp going for $140.8k inclusive of COE. Delivery by mid July. I thought the price sounds pretty ok. Still lower that the Evo and Sti and almost 20k cheaper than the 350Z.

Even though I know very well that I will buy the RX-8 irregardless, i would still prefer to see the car in live and a test drive before putting down a deposit on it. Only afraid that, by then it would have a long queuing time for delivery.

Can't wait to get my hand on one.:(

I'm not sure if the prices are confirmed? From chatting with several PIs, the OMV seems to range from $40k to $48k for the Type S...

There is also the worry of them taking out certain parts like power windows, aircon, stereo, etc and having no leather, big brakes, rims etc before exporting to Singapore to reduce the OMV. These are then locally fitted (hopefully with the original items!)

Best is if we can get them to commit in writing to the price before COE and to categorically state that all items will be factory fitted!
