Talk to Ric Shaw in Sydney. Consider after-market sway bars before/whilst doing the springs.

I think you should do both... I will wait coz there are not many coming out..

You know what I am looking forward too... AMUSE springs and shocks! ;)

Actually I will buy the Tein Flex when it comes out. It has a controller on the dash that you can change the setting with a button.

Struts bar is easy fix and any brand will do. Try Ric shaw. If you want a brand name (i.e. you like the wear CK or Countryroad underwear than anything else). Then MazdaSpeed and Autoexe is also very good!

In fact I can't make up mine... there are still very limited stuff for the RX-8 at the moment. When I saw a thing... like the AMUSE Titan Neo Pro... I said "wow" and then thinks it is expensive - must be good... then I think 13 ps gain... this MUST be good... then I think. Would a stainless steel one later on will be as good and half the price... should I do the shock first. Is there a good one.. then it comes out to be TOO expensive, like $5000 ++

I have got the Racing Beat Sway Bars on. They are excellent very high quality & they have stiffened up the car just nicely.

I also notice on their site that they now have springs out IMHO they would be worth checking out. Racing Beat have been used by Mazda Corporation in the US to design upgraded suspension for one of their models over there.

i also have a magazine about rx-8 i will bring along too...

i just instore tein spring today....
from evo R they are call tein luxury....
good...looks lowered and handel more better!

But I am after the shock from Tein... the flex suspension not just springs... good to change the settings: Hang on ... the wife setting, and fang setting, and track setting :D

oh cool! can you let us know which Tein coilvers you have and does it have the EDFC thingy as well? what price range is it at?
are you in australia?

i think i will most likely to wait for the whole thing (ie. tein colivers + EDFC). in the meantime, i will probably just change the springs.....

Price is not a problem for you AMUSE ... just kidding. In fact, it is cheaper than I thought. About 200,000 yen. A$2,500.

I will enquire more in Hong Kong. I am going back next Feb and I have relatives there... maybe I will do it then. The fact that I said this because I want someone to do it long time to see if any problem arise from it. You see. I never buy a product when new and no testing. hehe.

I am sure I can get the set under retail price in Hong Kong. But I am not sure what the shipping cost is.

too late, i just lowered the 8 with aftermarket springs. i think i will just use them until i have to change them, plus i want to make sure these coilovers are fault free :D

sure you are right eric...

must be patient.

Time waiting now is to research the setting of the stock and MazdaSpeed shock. It will be good starting point to play with. I am sure there is some data level of setting in (I think) 12 levels in the Flex.
