View Full Version : DIY: A Pillar 3 Gauge Pod

My first post - i had searched forever to find a 3 gauge pod and came up with nothing for the 8, other than the Carbon fiber one that was about $175 or something stupid. So i bought some 3m flex Molding (the same stuff they use for nascar) and set off to make my own using a universal 3 pod from Gloshift and my stock pillar. Here are some pics of the fab!

Great fab work but what happens when the curtain air bags are deployed?

^^^I wouldn't want to be in the driver seat. you will end up wearing the gauges as contact lenses.

i'm amaze when you guys 'oldbie' still keep sayin those air bags which have been discuss before, you guys should know better than 'newbie' :) here's a pic in this thread:
