Question on replacing Mazdaspeed shocks

2 years ago I lowered the car with Sprint Springs and Mazdaspeed Shocks. Love the combo and have put about 50K miles on it but the right rear shock is now leaking and going out on me I can feel that corner of the car hit harder on bumps in the road. My question is, Is it ok to replace just the one right rear shock or do I need to do both rears? I have no reason to suspect any other shocks having problems at this point but I want to do it right. Is there anything I can ask from a shop to test the shocks to tell their condition or how much life they may have left in them? If they have to be removed to test them I don't know if I will go that far because I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for them to take them all apart just to find out they are fine when I can get one MS shock for $110 and just have that installed. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
JT

You should replace both on the same axle with that kind of mileage. Really the fronts are starting to go likely as well....

Save the diagnosis money and spend it on another shock....likely be the same price.....

Thanks for the info. I've still got my stock shocks I could put on in a pinch if these totally crap out on me. Not ideal but it would get me by. It's not a DD, just the weekend car.
