bse50 12-06-2009, 06:48 AM Do you mean the air jacks that are used to lift racing cars fast while in the pit?
mscamp02 12-06-2009, 10:08 AM I think he means attached to the car??
dannobre 12-06-2009, 11:37 AM They are on any racecar that allows them in the class rules....
kersh4w 12-06-2009, 11:57 AM interrated is engrish. i think he means integrated.

@!!narotordo 12-06-2009, 12:57 PM Use a jack like NASCAR or wait they are not fast  sorry could not help it
I think he means attached to the car??
yup they were attached and sorry about my English does any one know where to get them?
bse50 12-06-2009, 02:00 PM There are several manufacturers out there, even D2 has got an air jack.
You will have to do some serious modifications to the car in order to fit them.
do you know of any sites that sell said jacks cuz i google d2 i get nothing
Silver06 12-09-2009, 01:26 AM A quick Google taught me two things:
1) You can buy them here (http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?tpc=Genesis_Technologies_Air_Jack_System _Kit&form_prod_id=15,10_242&action=product):
2) they cost $3,000
There are other sites, as well. You may be able to save $50 or $100 :naughty:
i just think it would be really cool to be able to stop and just lift your car up plus think how easy it would be to change a tire
8 Maniac 12-09-2009, 07:54 AM it would definitely be fun and useful, but is there ever a circumstance that you'll need them? You could get a really nice low profile jack and really nice jack stands for a LOT less.

And a quick thumbing through back issues of Sport Compact Car shows you how to build your own for about $500... Assuming you have your own TIG welder,,
CyberPitz 12-09-2009, 11:30 AM I keep reading this thread title as "Interracial Jacks".....hmmm....I think I'm onto something here.

Yeah, good point Huey...
And this does not include the "Air Source", you would still need and external compressor with about (guess) 80-90 PSI...wouldn't you???
A small car compressor (12 volt) would not have the guts to lift a car....would it??:scratchhe
Rotr8 12-19-2009, 08:49 AM Most race cars dont carry thier own air source, but rather have a source back in the pits that is lined out to the car when they are changing things like tires and adding fuel
