I did a search but didn't see a mention of this issue -- does Canzoomer's Stage 1 ECU mod provide any increase in torque along with the horsepower? It seems to me it would almost have to, but what do I know? ;)

Looking forward to getting my hands on it for my 8!

HP is torque times RPM. If the HP increases at the same RPM, then the torque must have increased to increase the HP.

See, you already knew! :)

Yep, the actual equation is HP = (torque * RPM) / 5252.

I'd say the bigger question is: how does the car drive on part throttle?

I look forward to seeing some Stage1 customer reviews that describe how it improves the drive in general rather than just what it does on a wide open throttle.

Ian.

Only be embarrassed if you are an automotive engineer. Otherwise, fair question.
