I've read on when you go over 55 shot of nitro, you should tune. But how do you actually do that? Do you drive down the road really fast, spray then tune? :yelrotflm

Then try and take fuel out until its running right. All rotaries in general. The OEM seals cannot take rapid change in temperature (thermal shock) that nitrous makes. They will warp or break. How long you want your engine to last? A few pulls or 100,000+ miles? If you want to run nitrous, its more work then just adding a bottle and some fuel. The motor needs to be built with seals that can take the thermal shock like ceramics and be properly clearanced for rapid temperature change. You also need to make sure the motor has adequate cooling modifications done as nitrous generates a lot of heat. thewird |
