I have searched, but could not find a solution to this. So I just got the AP a couple of days ago and very impressed with what it can do, but I am having problems with AFR spike during WOT with the 2005 stage 1 CA map.
To start off, my mods consist of rb test pipe and AEM CAI which Cobb does not recommend their map to be used with these mods, but I have searched that most members are running fine with these combinations. Well what happened was the car ran super lean and the AFR spiked up to 16.21 at 6,200 rpm. At this point the engine was struggling and felt like it lost all power. :banghead:
After this I pulled over and immediately reflashed ECU beack to the stock style map. I then tested out WOT all the way up to 8,800 and it was fine. AFR was around 11.97-12.5 and the power band seemed very smooth.
So I really dont understand what is going on and hoping for some help...
Is it that the 2005 stage 1 CA map won't support the AEM intake and the rb test pipe?
Or is there is problem with the 2005 stage 1 CA version map and should I switch it to 2005 stage 1 (non CA) map instead? (By the way I'm in California)
Any help would be appreciated!
