Well have had the car for a week and so far the fuel economy doesn't seem too bad. I got 23.2mpg for a mixture of 90 miles motorway and 43 miles town driving. This on the second tank of gas.

Have to admit I was taking it really easy with the revving as breaking the car in. Hope it goes up after! (Fat chance once I can really let the engine rip!) :). The engine really loves to be revved!

Congratulatoins on getting your car!

Expect about 20.5 MPG for normal driving once you run it in.

18 to 19.5 if you have fun!

I have consistently averaged between 22 and 24 mpg over 2500 miles now. It doesn't seem to matter much how I drive it.

I get consistently between 11 and 15, with highs in 18-20 for pure highway. Usually runs around 12 mpg. :(

I would take your back VRRX8, that mpg is just too low even if you are trashing it.

Remember to multiply US mpg by 1.2 to get UK mpg, so thats 21-24 UK mpg for highway which seems about right for the auto, going on what people are starting to get on the UK standard power. But the average is a bit low, which ever gallons you use. Probably the lack of ratios hurts the auto more in city and spirited driving.
