View Full Version : Buying: sway bar! em1turbo 09-23-2008, 02:23 AM looking to buy a rear sway bar. Some good brands would be good. Also im looking to buy pullies but dont know which is best or how to install. any ideas? alnielsen 09-23-2008, 09:57 AM Best is a reletive term. What are you planning to do with the car. Street only, Autocross, Track, Drift, ....... And then, most people don't swap many different brands of swaybars. They buy one and then will tell you that they made the best decision. em1turbo 09-24-2008, 09:49 PM i need it for canyons. Griping turns and things like that. better handling without so much giving out. Rotary Rasp 09-24-2008, 10:52 PM You should replace both. Changing just the rear will throw off the dynamics of the car. alnielsen 09-25-2008, 07:03 AM Yes, just changing the rear will cause the car to oversteer. I find the car is too loose all ready. What ever you decide, buy a matched set from the same company. em1turbo 09-25-2008, 06:47 PM what company do you recommend? I want better handling for turns. Choose wisely alnielsen 09-25-2008, 07:02 PM tanabe racing beat progressive tech (adjustable) pick one There's one I would add to that list, Agency Power (adjustable). One other that has been popular, but I haven't heard about for a while, is Whiteline. If you are going to add lowering springs, you are also going to need adjustable endlinks for the swaybars. Very nice mod for the RX-8 IMO. Wish it was my first.... But yeah pm me if you are interested on anything for you RX-8 and we can help you out. Let me know what you are looking for. dozer 09-25-2008, 07:23 PM check our forum vendors, they will have prices for you. P.S.
