Damnit!!!!!

The scratch is pretty deep and I can easily catch my fingernail on it so I imagine it is bodyshop time.

Can anyone in the NYC area recommend me a bodyshop to take it to? Any idea how much it will cost to fix?

God I hate people sometimes! :banghead:

Thanks for the tip - I'll definitely be giving Kenny a call. Any idea on if it is possible to take mass transit back to NYC from there?

Anyone else have any suggestions for a good shop possibly closer to NYC? I obviously want quality work done though so am definitely willing to make it out to belleville if that's what it takes to get it fixed right.

not sure if the bus runs by his shop but im sure he can drop you off near a station or bus stop that can get you back to the port authority.....if you go into the multimedia section and search kenny or east side you will see some of the sick cars that have come out of there....if you want your car done im sure any where in ny will work.....if you want it done right....different story

What a jerk!

Question. What will the body shop do? a) repaint the entire panels? Can they really match it that well? b) fill the scratch and touch up? will that work well enough?

Just asking as I have some minor scratches (not near as deep as the car in the pic) that I want to fix.

that deep needs the panel to be repainted and depending on the rest of the paint the rear door and fender to match properly...you cant touch that up because then yuo will have a black line......its terrible.....you might as well claim it on insurance as vandalism and they should cover it

Yes. It is terrible. Thank god for comprehensive insurance. I'll post an update once everything is sorted with some nice before and after pics.
