They took care of my 8 since the rear passenger door was damaged @ a Target parking lot and he also gave me a great price for painting my body kit and installation.

I deff am going back to Kenny in the near future for some more work. I still gotta get a spoiler and I also have some custom paint work for him to do in special top secret places so STAY TUNED.

Kenny is amazing and does awesome work! I had my kit put on and painted in only a few days. Kenny also has done work for Chrism, Lil Benny, Kel, etc just to name a few. I will be going back for some more work on my car in the future

 

Let me also add they deal w/allot of high end luxuary cars, so his work is precise and on point. I got nothing but good things to say.

i'm full of the dumb questions today but what is involved in getting fitment done for a kit? i'd like to get a kit that is FS on the boards but am 2 hours away and am hoping that someone might be able to help out a fellow member with fitment so that i could just go down to see kenny for a final fitment in one trip. is this possible or do i need to go down, have it fit and then come back another day for final fitting?

from everything i've heard kenny is the way to go for any work done in the NE and would be well worth the trip. i'm just hoping i can get the kit that is FS.

 

IF the kit is for the year/make/model that you own it's just a matter of (if you go to Kenny for your body work) going there w/the kit, car and telling him I want it painted and installed. He will make sure to get perfect fitment. The fitment issue is just a matter of aligning the kit properly on the car so that everything looks even and of course making the proper holes where they belong when you bolt it up.

It doesn't hurt to speak to Chrism because he has fitted his own kits like 10 times, lol... and also call up Kenny he is a really cool guy. Tell him Jeff (Black 08 RX8 & Chris's friend) sent ya and he'll I'm sure be happy to answer your questions.

 

it would definitely be kenny as i know he comes highly regarded and looks out for us on these boards. i'd be looking to put an autobahn on my '04 if i can pick up the one that is for sale now. i know he's done kel's as well so that is always a plus. my biggest thing is that if i can just do it in one trip rather than two it would help a ton since i'm up in CT. okay, i'll stop hijacking now.

 

If the kit is already painted fitting I don't believe is that hard. Speak to Chrism, Kel &/or Kenny...

If you need paint then why bother trying to prefit it? If it is meant for the car then no worries just drop off after you speak to him and he'll give you and estimate of when to pick up when he is done.

the autobahn kit from shine?.....fitment is pretty good on that kit....usually some aftermarket kets need the body to be molded and remolded to fit better.....so the labor goes up.....dude if the kit was fitted on an 8 you dont need to re-fit it unless its been damaged.....we can do that part in my garage if you really wanted to.....itherwise you just gotta get it painted and leave your car there for a day or two to install it

 

it's the shine autobahn kit and it is still in the original shipping material from a member that never got a chance to install.

 

should be relatively easy to install but i would let kenny do it for you.....im sure you can work him picking it up in the price

btw the kit does need to be fitted, I highly recommend it. yes my kit fits great but because of kenny. shine is good but kenny is better believe me I was there when the kit came in. gil, me and dave ordered the same kits and installed at the same time. I see Gil once in a while and he always says good things about the work.

P.S kenny thanks everyone for there business. he appreciate's working on our cars.he strickly works on Riverside Audi's cars but made a exception for the great member's on here.he currently has one Rsx but thats a trade in from riverside audi.(stupid sales guy) (no civic's) LOL except my old car.

Another local guy Cons/Johnny (FC guy) most likely is getting his kit done and entire body refinished so June that things is going to be a beast and sexy as hell.

Kenny is going to become wealthy real soon just off of the locals, lol.
