RXtreme8 05-04-2008, 08:52 AM Whose pipes are you planning to run with?
Looks like it'll be a solid setup.
sauceyI986 05-04-2008, 06:26 PM well i plan to have a shop called turblown here in az since i seen there work i e-mailed the guy back and forth a little but and was going to have it done last year in the summer but something had came up. But my look im going for is how the rx-7's engine bay look like.
VarneyMazda 05-04-2008, 06:52 PM Sounds like a good setup!
sauceyI986 05-04-2008, 07:15 PM i will be posting pictures of the whole process from start to finish.
RXtreme8 05-04-2008, 10:06 PM I'd never heard of them, so I checked out their website (turblown.net). They've got some pretty impressive stuff going on there. Very nice picture gallery.
Can't wait to see how it'll look Saucey.
TopGear8 05-05-2008, 10:12 AM I'm looking forward to pictures, any idea on how long it will take to be finished?
sauceyI986 05-07-2008, 02:45 AM well if i don't part to much this summer and put on a bunch of overtime i'm really aiming for august fully with every thing completed
GAMBEAN 05-09-2008, 11:48 PM good luck on turblown making you a manifold.
one of my buddies has one of there manifolds on his fc.
top notch shit.
chickenwafer 05-11-2008, 01:59 AM Where are you planning on locating the snail? It won't fit down low where the GReddy puts it. It would only really fit as a remote setup or a front mount.
sauceyI986 05-11-2008, 11:07 PM This is were i want to turbo and some what of the look that i am going for

tech b 01-18-2010, 12:16 AM Did this ever happen?
09Factor 01-28-2010, 10:26 AM I don't think so. I don't remember ever seeing his 8 in Tublowns shop. Also that Turblown whipped up a very nice Top mount manifold for my setup.
Pics are in my links in my signature.
sauceyI986 02-14-2010, 12:19 AM Old post but everytime time I got ready for it things came up. Now at this point and time my engine went out on me on friday. Mazda isn't goin go cover it so I'm like I might as well do it the right way. I'm just drop in a 13b-tt using a sinle turbo I can be turboes and ported for less than messing with an engine that's has the same issue.
Easy_E1 02-14-2010, 12:28 AM What are you going to use for engine management? It's not going to be a drop in with the RX8 ECU.
TeamRX8 02-14-2010, 02:35 AM never count your turbos before they spool up ...

Sounds like another Mazsport incident waiting to happen.
I would go with a well known shop that has been in business for a while for something like this.
Check out what the guys at Turblown just completed for me;
