Many sources classify the current Renesis a 2.6 liter...and it flows like a 2.6 liter, not a 1.3 liter.
Hence, 1.6 liter * 2 = 3.2 aka 16X.

except it doesnt actually flow like a 2.6 liter . it flows more like a 2.9 or 3 liter.

(1st post, Hi everyone!)
zoom44, is there a detailed writeup on that? This site (http://www.rx7hotpage.com/engine.htm) has an equivalence calculation that I thought was pretty logical (bottom of the page).
By that logic, Renesis is a 2.6 L 6-cyl. equivalent. Then R26B should be a 5.2 L 12-cyl. equivalent, but FIA classified it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wankel_engine#Automobile_racing) as a 4.7 L.

sure you need to find rotarygod's posts about his tuning with the megasquirt. when he tried using the base map for a 2.6 liter it was very lean so he had to move ot the 3.0l to just get it running as a place to start tuning from
and actually looking back myself just now it was actually the 3.6l tuning he needed to use
