Coil Issues?

I have had my baby on the bottle now for about 3 months, and am loving it. But now for some reason, it lags around 7500 rpm whether the nitrous is on or not, and occasionally the CEL starts flashing. I had the code check, and its a misfire on cylinder 2. I read on another forum about checking the coils with a multimeter. How do you check them? i tried to PM the person who wrote about it, but i couldnt. I want to replace the coils with the Okada coils if they are in fact toast, but i want to make sure first.

the quickest way to check them is to bung some new ones in - they are cheap !

Do your research; from what I read the Okada are VERY expensive and may be BS.

I contacted my dealership today, they want 100$ CDN each for the coils. I laughed and hung up on him. not when our dollar is on par with the us dollar and i can get them off onlinemazdaparts.com for 30$

If you want Okida contact Charles Hill

I would suggest getting a relocation kit. Try Pettit or Mazsport.
