I know there was a problem with the ports being backlogged awhile back, does anyone know if this problem still exists? This week is my "build week", and I have the rear spoiler, appearance pkg, etc.... so I'm trying to prep myself for any delays. This wait has been painfully long, so I'm sure it's bound to get worse. Just being a glass is 1/2 empty person.
Also, does anyone know if they are still sending e-mails and gifts to those of us that ordered or was that just for you fearless guys that ordered before anything was really known about the car?
At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!:)

I have simialr port installed options. The car arrived at port 9/13. It was finally released sometime last week. Mazda has an ETA of 9/30 at dealer. I am feverishly waitin gfor my dealer to call. :)
Never recieved any email from Mazda eventhough I pre-ordered in May. I did get the pre-order gift though. I'm not sure when was the cut off date for pre-orders.

Mine is currently "ON WATER"
It is due to arrive 4th week Octobler
and dealer said expect 5th week October.
So I can see it taking a week to ship, so that makes 2 or 3 at port then another week to get to the dealer?
Not positive but thats my guess.

... depends on how close to the port you are, what other deliveries the truck has to make, etc.
Mine took 2 days between port of Baltimore and Rockville MD... I think I remember some guy in TX having it take a week or two between the port and the dealership (I think the truck got lost or something).
From MI... I dunno if your car would go East or West Coast... but probably East. And you can drive from DC/Baltimore to MI in a day.
A week's not a bad estimate, though, IMO.
