I just want to post my frustration with this seller. Purchased brake upgrade kit, which includes front/back set of slotted rotors and brake pads. Price is great I might add. Brake pads arrive in 3 days or so and Jason is very nice and polite in emails that rotors on back order and should ship in 3 days. Ok fine, as my stock brakes are working great, no rush. Please note that entire balance charged to credit card. Well after 5 days and still no rotors I send out two emails. I attempted to leave a VM two days in a row but the VM was full. I finally left a VM message after two unanswered emails and still have not heard a thing.
Now I have no problem with back orders but set some realistic time frames and keep your customers in the know, especially if you have all ready billed them!!!! There are some legal issues in regards to transactions as such, but this is not the time or place. The biggest issue, is that this is extremely poor customer service and poor business practices.

llzjayarzll 03-12-2007, 10:16 PM ahh crap, i just bought slotted rotors a week back !! ahh damnit.
AdRoCK3217 03-13-2007, 12:13 AM I've always had a problem getting things in a timely manner from RX7store.net...when I order things there, I try to avoid "needing" them within a month or so.
Last time, I ordered 2 Greddy 720cc injectors..canceled the order after it hadn't arrived after 3 weeks (canceled online) and they ended up on my doorstep 4 days later. Got my refund, and the parts...
Just a heads up!
mysql101 03-13-2007, 08:21 AM If nothing else, they're consistent.
AdRoCK3217 03-13-2007, 09:48 AM True!
SoFL_RX8 03-13-2007, 12:28 PM Then sent me my new flywheel in 3 days, but the counterweight took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive... sounds like a trend with them. Im usually willing to risk it though because their prices are pretty good.
Brettus 03-13-2007, 03:48 PM I will never use them again after my experience .....
llzjayarzll 03-13-2007, 05:32 PM ahh crap, i just bought slotted rotors a week back !! ahh damnit.
actually i just got them in today!! hahah
no bad experiences with them so far..
NMOcho 03-13-2007, 07:54 PM Let’s see my order was placed 2/21/2007 at 5:10PM Here is my last email from them
from RX7store.net...
date Mar 5, 2007 2:44 PM
subject RE: rx7store.net Order Confirmation
Justin,
Sorry for the delay. I talked with my supplier today and he said the rotors had been on backorder. This is first I have heard of that. He said they could go out in the next day. Let me know if that is ok.
Thanks
Jason
Still no word from Jason. Hello how about a returned call or email... my god... Well from what I am getting out of this is they just do business this way and offer good prices. So take good prices with crap service or pay more and get good service. This will be my last purchase from them; I strongly recommend everyone does the same. Pay the extra 50 to 100 dollars to go with someone else.
Keep you all posted on how much time it takes. Well if I get no word by 3/19/07, it’s being disputed with My CC Company.
TeamRX8 03-13-2007, 10:21 PM get rotors from RacingBrake instead ..
Cody Red 03-13-2007, 10:36 PM I didn't have any trouble with them. I ordered the ACT combo, and got it when I expected (Ordered on a friday morning, received throw-out bearing and counterweight next thursday, and pp & friction disc on friday). I remember calling that thursday to ask about the pp and disc, and they said it usually comes in two packages and that I should receive it the next day.
Guess I got lucky.

NMOcho 03-14-2007, 11:05 AM get rotors from RacingBrake instead ..
That will be my plan if I don't get the product from them. I strongly considered racingbrake but trying to save some dollars went with rx7xtore.net. Well I filed an Attorney General complaint so maybe that will get their attention.
andylam85 03-14-2007, 10:10 PM I've had a great experience with rx7store.net Ordered the Act clutch/flywheel combo, underdrive pulleys, stainless steel brake/clutch lines and everything came in a timely manner. I was totally satisfied with their prices and service. No complaints here.
Jason 03-18-2007, 12:32 AM To those that have ordered Brake rotors from us I appologize for the long delays. My supplier has been horrible in getting stuff shipped in a timely manner and I have been as frustrated as you. From now on I will only sell rotors that I have in stock at my location, which will give me the ability to provide tracking as soon as they ship. I was drop shipping them to save on shipping charges to me, but will stock these from now on.
For those that order clutch parts, those I stock and able to get them out in 1-2 days.
NMOcho, have you tried calling me? What was the name on the order? All of my brake orders shipped last thrusday, so yours were probably in there.
Jason
NMOcho 03-21-2007, 11:27 AM Jason,
Acutally as stated in my opener.. "Well after 5 days and still no rotors I sent out two emails. I attempted to leave a VM two days in a row but the VM was full. I finally left a VM message after two unanswered emails and still have not heard a thing."
My VM was left March 7 or 8 and still no call back. On 3/14/07, you sent me an email saying your supplier would ship them. Still no package or tracking numbers. Today, at 9:20am MST, I called your number and "we sorry this mailbox is full" same story different day. So I will now send you an email.
You can have supplier problems, but you need to do the right/legal thing and take care of your customers.
**** UPDATE *********
Ok heard from Jason... and he is getting those rotors out to me. I look forward to this being resolved and I thank everyone that has posted.
I'm very pleased that Jason (RX7store.net) is finally being proactive. :beer05: It appears my experience will help others not to go through the same. :fingersx:
Jason 03-21-2007, 12:53 PM Not sure where your emails are going, because I answer mine twice a day usually.
What is the name on the order so I can look it up?
THanks
Jason
Jason 03-21-2007, 01:05 PM I got your email from this morning and responded.
Thanks
Jason
NMOcho 03-30-2007, 04:08 PM Update...
Still waiting for tracking number/rotors and refund back to card still not showing. Last email indicated rotors shipped on 27th, but no tracking number provided to confirm.
Jason 03-30-2007, 05:22 PM Sent you an email today with an update and tracking.
Jason
smrx8 03-30-2007, 06:32 PM I got to admit too, they dont answer all questions pm him 2 days ago about a racing beat exhaust for price and paypal address and only responded to the final cost .pm him back asking him for his paypal address and never got a response. oh well
Jason 03-31-2007, 05:47 PM Please dont rely on PM's to get a hold of me. I never get any indication of new PM's and on the forum maybe once a day if Im lucky. Please shoot me an email.

NMOcho 04-02-2007, 01:36 PM Rotors have arrived. I have to say if the rotors had come as fast as my brake pads I would have been thrilled.
Note to everyone. Jason did make things right! So very pleased with that.
Dominicano 05-22-2008, 12:44 PM I can agree with the timely manner that it takes to recieve the parts. It's very frustating also because your credit card will get charged the very next day but your parts dont arrive for like 2 weeks, that's not cool thought. Another thing that get's me a little upset is that i have called 3 times and gotten the same "sorry but my supplier..." excuse and that kind of gets me upset. I will not complain about the price because the price is great. I would just wish that the store and that supplier can come in aggreance of how long it's gonna take and then add a couple of days to that to not get customer upset. I have recieved my rotors but still waiting on my brake pads. When i called yesterday I spoke to someone(didnt get the name) and he told me because of how long it took they where gonna over night it to me. Hopefully i get them today or maybe if i get real lucky 2morrow.
Jason 05-22-2008, 12:59 PM Customers need to realize that shipping takes time. For one our website specifically states on the front page that is take 2 days to process an order because of how busy we are. If you order a part on a thursday the odds are it wont get processed until Monday, which is 4 days. Weekends dont count. If Im sending something from Cali to Florida that is 6 business days shipping via ground and weekends dont count so 7 days in transit. So the earliest is 12 days and that is if the distributer ships them the next day. When ordering brakes off my site it says product ship in about 5 days. So if you order on a thursday, processed on a monday, ship 5 days later and then 7 days in transit that comes out to 16 days. Im giving a worse case scenario and on most parts its not that long, but typically on these brakes it can take a couple of weeks.
Shipping time depends on where they come from, where there going and if an item is in stock or not.

Raymond,
I just sent you an email about the pads. They have been sitting in florida for a few days and UPS claims they have a wrong address.

Dominicano 05-22-2008, 10:44 PM ^^^ Jason, when i spoke to some one from there yesterday( i didnt get there name) told me that they had not left the supplier yet?. So honestly i dont know where the right info is coming from. When i bought the pads i clearly put my girlfriends address in the notes and the rotors came in the right address. So i dont know what could be going on now.
BBQdDude 05-23-2008, 08:09 AM For what it is worth I have dealt with Jason and crew locally. They have always been stand up, services done on my car were less than going rates, services were always done correctly the first time without issue.
You need a better couch though man  .
Take care,
Brian

My supplier called me back and said he was thinking of a different shipment. Yours went out on the 12th but has been held up at UPS because of an incorrect address for some reason. We called them yesterday and resolved the issue so you should see the pads today.

Dominicano 05-23-2008, 12:18 PM Jason, Thanks for your time and sorry for souding so upset. I can now take out my frustation on UPS. Lol. Thank you again and i hope to do buisness with you again.

I notice my card isn't charged until the 8th. I wait, call the following week (May 13)and ask for status. Don't get a tracking number, but get told that it'll be there "in a couple of days". On the website, order shows as processing. I call again on the 20th, get a UPS tracking number (site still shows as processing, and delivery method as FedEx), and I either wrote down the number incorrectly, or the item still hasn't shipped. I've been trying to call this week and can't get anyone to answer the phone. Is the service at Rotary Performance any better? I'm starting to think I should have gone that route.
I'm not impatient, but when I keep getting told that an item has shipped, and it hasn't, it gets frustrating.

Tim,
Tracking on it is 1z5av8630350806069 UPS. That item was sent on the 9th to you and UPS tried to deliver it but the package was refused. It was sent back to us and we got it on the 23rd. Track it on the UPS website and you will see what happened. Our service is fine but not much we can do if the item is refused.

Wow...I apologize. I have no clue who would have refused shipment on that. Makes no sense to me. I just spoke with my girlfriend, and she didn't refuse the shipment. That leaves my dog as the only one who could have refused. What can I do to get this shipped back? So there's no issue, I'll go pick it up at the UPS depot here.
Edit: I even just looked at the date/time it was "refused". I was home.
Jason 05-29-2008, 05:44 PM No problem. I can just reship it but you would need to call UPS once its shipped and let them know to hold it.

Thank you very much. And thank you for responding so quickly here. I'm completely baffled as to what happened with UPS.
