Hi All,

is there any issues on installing the a/m on a 6AT? my current ride has jus been installed with this wonderful gadget and should i be getting an 8 (i hope i am), any issues to transfer over (i.e. electrical implications)? Or any bros out ther having this remote start alarm on their 8? Thks for all advises in advance

I think you might have to bypass the immobilizer...

Yeah, all you have to do is bypass the immobilizer, but you have to do that with most vehicles anyway. Directed Electronics makes a part that will do it without having to give up a key, but you do need two seperate keys to program it.

I know of GSM car alarm system, but I'm looking for one that can do remote start. Pls direct me if anyone knows. Thanks in advance.
