OK - now that I have your attention
Just an observation about how disconnecting the battery affects MPG . Hope this is not a repost as I'm not wearing flameproof vest .....
Has anyone else noticed : If you disconnect the battery you get worse MPG for the next tank of gas ?
I have scanalyser & have monitored it after a disconnect . What I've found is that the fuel trims go negative initially (i've seen up to -7%) before they settle .
With a negative fuel trim you should be getting better MPG I would have thought but it does not seem the case . Any other thoughts (apart from flamethrowers ) .......
