Well, the second road trip could be added and named "Over The Hump To Pahrump". It would seem that the most prolific skirt chaser that this forum has should leed, Atilla and his co driver should be alnielsen to protect the forum. Jedi should bring up the rear as that is how he rolls

i can't believe i just read this whole nonsensical thread on christmas eve....
It just shows how starved for entertainment we are
WHiV and SS
The timing of these events seem to collide with what I have going on every year. Father's Day weekend, busy time with the kids due to it being Summer. Or end of September with school starting and everything that goes along with that. Work always getting in the way as well.
Friggin 2 blown motors wiped out both WHiV and SS for 2010.
Will 2011 be my year?

I definitely want to go. It is my old stomping ground and would love to check it out again. I went to jr high and high school in Vegas and have some family there

With the new bridge, the dam is not really an option this year...... to many sight seers. The trips are usually to areas that even a lot of locals don't get see or to scenic spots that are not too busy.

Believe me that drive has been explored but the roads to Rachel are not set up for 8s. Now if we were a Viper club and wanted speed I might reconsider as the two lane road to Rachel is wide, flat and in great repair... The distance is too great, the Alien Inn only seat 20 peeps and I am sure someone would get their car impounded for "sight seeing".
Nevada does not have very many twisties in the south so finding a different area to explore with twisties is difficult. We try and give you speed sections, twisties and sights.
