Jingle Ballzzzz!
Just landed back home in Seattle. Thanks SO much to everyone who made it an awesome weekend! Ray and Jeannie and Phil and Erick and everyone else involved. GREAT job!
So nice to meet new people and hang out with the ones who I 'talk' to a lot, like Al, but haven't met in person before. Was great hanging with Elf, Screamn8 and Barbara!
And thanks to Michele for putting up with me as a roomy and letting me drive Ocho all weekend... It was a blast! Totally different experience driving an 8 who likes hot weather this time, as opposed to mine who does not. I just hope I left some tread for ya...

I touched down on the tarmac at 11:30 yesterday and it will be a couple of days before I get back to normal.
Mission Accomplished, my main purpose (besides having fun) was to meet some of the west coast people that I interact with on this site. They were all as great as I imagined.
Thunderstorms moved through and cooled it down here. Seems that being warmer than Vegas was only a temporary thing, as expected.
I made it a priority to come to WHIV before SS. It seemed to me that WHIV was more emphisis was placed on people. Where as, SS is mainly about the cars and people being a second thought. Back in 2005/2006 there was some serious discussion about having a people event in Chicago that never got off the ground. I'm glad Las Vegas was able to pull it off.

The only exception to the Rule "Pics or it didn't happen" is "IF IT HAPPENED IN VEGAS...it STAYS in Vegas!"
There were some pics taken but still only caught a FRACTION of what really went down at night
Srsly tho...this event was nothing short of AMAZING. The people, The Cars, THE CLUBS, THE BOOZE, THE BEWBZ, THE BADASSERY-NESS...
...nothing short of anything i would expect from a Vegas trip.
Thank you Phil & Ray and everybody else that was involved in making this one of the most BADASS rotary events EVER.
p.s. - Ray, you guys gotta see about makin' Sephy n' I a part of your lil' organization committee I think we might be able to work a lil' Clubbing event next year with a couple of new "connections" we found from this weekend

Indeed, I would've joined you guys if I hadn't been awake for 36+ hours previously, and I had to leave right after the car show due to a mix up with my leave which I had to be back in southern AZ by midnight on the 19th or I'd turn into a pumpkin. Made it by 10:30 btw.

Ray & I with the entire Sin City Rotary Club wish to thank you all for coming. We hope that you had a a memorable time and will come back next year.
It was enjoyable meeting Allen (alnielsen) from the 8 Forums, whom I believe is the first mod to visit us.
Yes next year Atilla & Stepy will have input for Saturday Evening for the clubing set
If you had fun let us know and all you Rotary friends........................If you were disappointed let us know how to improve this annual event.

This was my third year and it just keeps getting better.
Had soooo much fun hangin with everyone.
Took a while for my head to stop spinning this year. My liver is still screaming at me

I swear its a family car!
AWESOME meet, show, and parties! Thank you for all the work you all did to set this up and gathered a group of awesome people to party with!
Nice meeting everyone, hope to see everyone again. I will be attending again, unsure when, but I will plan my next trip to Vegas around the next meet.
Official count: 2,120miles round trip. I'm sorry I missed the drives, but this "Iron Butt" isn't made of steel. I had to sacrifice something.

Fantastic event guys! After missing this event for the last 2 years, I am glad that I was finally able to make it. For those who also met my girlfriend Debbie, she also had a fantastic time and was really grateful to everyone who made her feel welcome.
The cruise on Saturday was a bit frustrating because I got separated from the group almost immediately and by the time I got my bearings everyone was gone. I know organizing cruises can be difficult, even more so when the amount of cars is 20 or more. Traffic, unfamiliar surroundings, differences in driving style etc. can all be a challenge. If anyone is interested, I can provide some suggestions on how to better improve the cruise portion having organized a few 30+ car drives here in Arizona.
The BBQ on Sunday was great as well. I'm glad I had a chance to meet some new people this weekend including some I've talked to on this form for a long time.

What a great event and trip definitely one of the best times Amanda and I have had in Vegas. Thank you Phil, Ray and everyone else who helped to make this event possible.
