Is it 2.5" or 3"?

Basically, will the cat-back portion bolt up to the stock cat?

Correct.

I was running my 3" mid-pipe 3" Turbo XS cat-back combo, but because of a recent warranty motor replacement, they have basically stated if I don't keep a stock cat on the car that they may not cover a replacement motor if it were to blow AGAIN within the 12k miles/1 year warranty that I got with it.

So yeah, I have to sell my 3" mid-pipe and the Turbo XS cat-back, and I just want to replace it with some 2.5" cat-back that will bolt upt.

Right now I'm running the 3" cat-back with the 2.5" stock cat and it obviously leaks exhaust where they meet up, and it SUCKS.

>_<

Yup! LOL

I've been running a 3" mid-pipe and 3" Turbo XS cat-back combo, but because of a recent warranty motor replacement, they have basically forced me to re-install the factory cat. So, now I need a 2.5" cat-back to match up to it.

So now I'm stuck running the 3" Turbo XS cat-back with the 2.5" stock cat and it obviously leaks exhaust where they bolt together. So I'm gonna be listing my 3" mid-pipe & Turbo XS cat-back here on the forums when I get around to it.

Actually yes, the 3" mid-pipe I have with the Turbo XS sounded amazing in my opinion. Especially when my 8 was still turbo'd.

I normally would insult Turbo XS for their eBay quality, and sure, it's not as PRETTY as other exhausts...but it sounded REALLY good with the mid-pipe.

I don't know what brand the mid-pipe is. It had come on the car when I bought it.

It has a gutted cat on there and then a resonator for sound control.

If I could just get a replacement cat welded in there I'd do it, but every shop here in SoCal is saying they can't even GET high-flow cats anymore because of the ridiculous emissions laws here.

So it's either I sell all the 3" stuff and just replace the cat-back with something that bolts up to stock.....OR, if I CAN get a 3" high-flow cat, I can throw that back on and be done.

:P
