Angry Yup...They Broke Into My 8! w/Pics!

Yeah so I decided to take the girl out for a nice night. We decided to go to Wild Horse Casino near Phoenix, AZ. We went in ate some crappy buffet, lost $60 bucks in 10min at the black jack table. We decide enough is enough not such a great night and well wrap it up. I noticed a truck was parked really close to my car and I was looking for any marks from the door and I noticed a hole at the window seal. The bastards broke the window trim, and tore the sheet metal on the drivers side door. I think my alarm went off because nothing was taken but the doors were unlocked. My IPod and my girls phone and some other random stuff were on the floor and untouched.

A real crappy night to say the least.

Here are some pics from this afternoon. The insurance company agreed with me, and is going to replace the whole door.

**** thats a bitch. Where were the Casino Cops at during all this?
Never did like Wild Horse Pass Casino. Did ya talk to the Security people and see if they saw or heard anything?
They should have cameras in the parking lots too. I'd be talking to them.

Yup, they said they will review the tapes from 715-915 said they would get back to me on monday. That does a whole lot of good, meanwhile the fuc%ers are breakin into other cars.

I am still planning on going to IHOP in the morning, maybe not the drive since the insurance agents are gonna pay me a visit tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some opinions on the damage from othes ie- replace the door, or just fix it?

I was thinking about showing at the I-Hop too. The drive is a bit long for me at this point in time.

I guess a lot of us know that feeling of walking out to your car and seeing that it's been violated! Over the years my GLi Jetta was hit twice, my wife's GTi was hit twice, our van was stolen and the next van was hit as well.
I wish there was a way to get these a$$holes to earn an honest living but there will always be people like that around.
Sorry this happened to your car but you should remember that this could have been worse if you didn't have an alarm!

Cool Blue- I was parked under the light, and near the RV parking section. We knocked on the door of the RV closest to us to ask if they heard anything and they said no...odd my alarm is very loud. I got to thinking did it go off? So I tried it when I got home and yep, it works...thank you to the mazda dealership for making me keep it.

I was thinking maybe a live pitbull in the car to thwart would be thieves? Hopefully it would gnaw off the arm of the bastards. I could deal with the bloody interior if I knew it was for a good reason.

Sorry to hear about this man. I'm always scared to leave my car in a lot, even at school with all the security cams. I get really nervous. Hope you get it fixed asap.

I hate thieves, unmotivated pieces of **** who'd rather steal someone elses stuff rather than work for their own.

Hope everything turns out ok man. I've never seen anybody go to that length to get into a car before! I'm glad they're replacing the door cause that won't "buff right out" like some insurance companies will try to sel you on. Still contemplating those CF doors you were talking about Saturday? LOL

Sorry to hear about the damage..looking at that makes me cringe..I say, OFF with the thieves' HANDS!!! They aren't going to learn until they know they'll lose something if caught..too barbaric? Yup!! Being too civilized will only encourage them to do it again when they get out...I know I would if I have nothing to lose...

I thought motion sensors were pointless before, and kind of annoying. I cannot however keep paying $500, each time someone decides to ruin a piece of my car. So I have thought of investing in one as well.

I thought the alarm was suppose to go off if the door was opened from the inside/outside after being locked with the key/remote. At least it happened to me once.
As for a motion sensor Mazda makes one that should just plug in to the exsisting system.
I think it's about $70.00.
The thing about them is the sensitivity setting on them. To sensitive and a breeze sets them off. Not sensitive enough and a Mack truck hitting you won't set it off.
So there are advantages and disadvantages to them.
Did ya find a bodyshop?

The trunk monkey would work perfectly, that video was hilarious.

Yeah I am going to use Auto Crafters at 1115 W. Broadway. Their site says they work on muscle cars and high end like rolls royce etc. I am dropping it off on monday
