Looked like a great time... unfortunately for me, when I thought my wife was just going through something turned out to be some serious trouble... had to take her to urgent care and was placed on bed rest till Monday. She's ok but still under close supervision from her doctor. We both were looking forward to this but were caught off guard... perhaps next time.

on a side note: We may be going to SoCal on 4th of July weekend....

I think I had one good left handed pass that got on video shortly before my fuel pump gave out :-(. Still, it was a great drive! Even with the minor off roading episodes.

Over the 130 mile trip we had about a 5 mile area of construction. While I knew of the first one that was only .8 miles long (and well compacted) the other two areas came as a surprise. Two weeks before the event they were not there. Can't figure the road crews into it. The road was still very passable just had to slow down for a short time.

Sorry to hear about your wife - I hope it's nothing serious. You missed a good time. There is always next year!

From leaving my house to pulling in to the garage, I clocked 1032 miles. I think Ross was the only one to beat me on miles. And I agree with you scremn8, I would do it all again in a heart beat.

It was great seeing some familiar faces and meeting some faces to go along with the username's. I hope everyone had a blast, and will come back next year!
