Having had a few run-ins with both the CHP and NHP I can only say that it take a different mind-set to call that your job 
. You and I can not comprehend what they are thinking when they see a group of like cars in a caravan 
. I find that the majority of the NHP are understanding guys who's job it is to keep accidents down. As long as you are not holding up traffic or dangerously exceeding the speed limit they will generally leave you alone.

I'm hoping for a few more from Arizona and there are about three or four more locals that may join us. I was expecting to see Atilla's name on the list from Cali.

Atilla does not lov us any more.........
We generally expect the first day of over 100 degree days to happen by May 1 and by June it will be close to but not yet hot. The weather in September was a little humid but in June you had better be drinking lots of water (some where between 4 and 6 percent humidity). Evenings and nights will be warm and the temp will not get below 90. It does not get really hot until mid to late July and August.

Well City Center is still going on. That is a huge development between Bellagio and New York New York.
The complete renovation at Tropicana has been put on hold.
Caesars Palace is completing another new tower
The dropping of Bally has been put on hold and they remain open and busy. The new tower at Bellagio has been put on hold
Fountain Blue (sp) is almost complete and is supposed to open in the summer.
Wynn an Encore are complete and doing a land office business but he put on hold another hotel on the same property.
Treasure Island sold to a really nice guy and he will be doing some changes there later this year (or next)
The Echelon project was stopped in mid stride and Boyd has not yet announced when they will start it up.
The dropping of Circus Circus was put on hold so KOA is safe for a while.
Station Casinos is ready to chapter 11 and Boyd is trying to buy them - this is just trying to get a better loan agreement.
Hooters is ready to declare chapter 11.
The economy has slowed the whole town down, room prices are down but every room is sold. The girls are still here and just waiting on you
All in all it's just another day in paradise (Vegas).

thanks for the update! I knew you were "in the know" so figured I'd go straight to the source. For those who don't know, Phil has Mafia connections to all the hotels / casinos and finances much of their "legal" activities.

Saturday morning June 20th @ 10am till 2pm (aprox): Scenic drive to and around Lake Mead culminating in a no host lunch at the Henderson Fiesta Hotel & Casino. There is a buffet and a café inside for your pleasure. I suggest that you bring a few bottles of water with you as it will be warm and very little humidity. We will again meet at the In & Out parking lot.
Saturday evening June 20th @ 7pm until ??: No host get together at the Hof Brau for good times and some good BS. Last year this was a very popular get together.
Sunday: Nothing planned but the trip home.
Ray, Jeff, Erick and Flashwing from BHR will be attending but will not be available for service just talk!!!!
