pictures seem kinda pixelated and fuzzy
due to it being at night and my digital
camera's flash doesnt reach that far...

bay area folks: there are couple of rx8's that show regularly to the scca solo II events. our first one is 1 february at the oakland coliseum and its a great way to enjoy the car at the limit and iprove driving skills. i will usually be driving my autocross car, but sometimes drive the rx8 too.

We had 6 RX-8's last week. Hopefully, we'll have an equally good turnout this Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 7:00 PM at Round Table Pizza in Sunnyvale (Mary Ave., between Maude & Central).

Yes, that sounds like it. Double check on maps.yahoo.com, it should lie between Maude Ave & Central on N. Mary Ave.

I'll be willing to take a group night shot of the cars for those that are interested.

 

hey brother voodoo i tried takin some shots with my s400 and then barely got away with a vid of them starting their engines and heading off...i dont think i'll make it to this tuesday but you think take a video with your s40 of all the cars lined up starting their engines...i'd think that be pretty cool one after another ...:D

One of the differences between the S40 and S400 is video clip length, you can take 3 min clips I can only take 30 sec clips. Anyway the video is lousy on both. Ophitoxaemia says he's bringing a digi cam so he is better equipped to take moving shots. I want to take a night shot with a couple 8's similar to the stuff I've been doing below.
