Yea... i'm back in SD by that time.

 

My 8 is at the dealer getting a new sealer for the rear light then it's goin to the shop to get my kit installed... Dont think it will be done by then :-\

it's still light out until like 7:30pm now. so if you show up on time, along with everybody else, you'll be able to "see the cars"

 

I'm mixing the mazdaspeed with the mint blue for my kit. Gonna pick up the kit and take it to the shop once i get off of work. I'm looking for a cf hood but the prices were like $430-over$500 for the OEM style... :-\ Guy told me there was some shortage in CF cuz NASA took most of it or somethin... iono... Eh, so any of you guys got any hook ups for cf hood?

I'll make it to the next meet for sure, especially if it's during the summer ;D we should get a beach meet for this summer

1. JIC full ti exhaust
2. catless midpipe of somesort.

if so, would really like to attend and listen to it...

talk to toca on that one. he has the TurboXS catless midpipe.

 

He still has a Cat though. He wouldn't be able to compete in autocross without one. He does have the Turbo XS exhaust and a hi flow cat. Don't recall which one he ended up with though.

 

i have the JIC stainless on mine, and i have the B&B catless midpipe on mine as well. i don't mind showing up for one of these meets for you to listen. =)

the RX8 hoods, the ones that are exact with Seibon TSII vented cf hood, "should" arrive to our company within 2-3 weeks, i'll let you guys know if it comes in. =)

hey everybody... i'm new to this forum. I drive a black rx8 (got it in feb... and you'll know it's me, cuz i'm the only rx8 with NOTHING on it). Was trolling forums at work when I noticed this thread. I also think that silver_8 left me a note on my car a while back in a parking lot on grand/db blvd. So ya.. just saying "Hi" to all you local rx8 owners. =)

Also, how many of you go to LA Fitness in DB? I think i've seen 4 or 5 rx8s rolling through the parking lot. (there's a VR, a TI, a silver/TI?, black and wb with MS kit)

 

welcome to the boards . don't worry, you're not the only one who doesn't have anything done to their car. Well.....mine does have a couple things done. eibach springs, billite grill, Axis Hiro rims (temporarily off and running stock rims), aftermarket leather......nothing else really. but in time, you'll have stuff done to yours .

Well I got prom this weekend and i should be getting my car back friday or saturday hopefully but im up for a meet. Heh, i havent been to LA fitness in the longest time, got lazy... Aha, i think the last time i went to the gym i just dropped in to take a crap and left. Lost a few pounds though... Aha but yeh, im down for a meet.

 

shxt! someone stole the clear corners (both sides) of the WB RX-8 that i "represent"
that guy even cut off the wire when he grab the lights
so should i go bak to the dealer and let them take care the wire part
or i am thinking just leave them like that so they wont light up
damn...now gonna change them back to yellow

oh...it happened yesterday around 9pm at Kmart in Diamond Bar

 

why would he steal the clear corners is what i'm wondering. $60 is not worth getting caught for defacing a vehicle. (then again ppl steal car emblems without a care in the world)

personally, i would just put the yellows back without the lights; then again it would bother me after a while knowing that my car was missing something. hmm..

as for the meet... i'm down for somethin... usually busy in the weekends, but keep me posted on here =)

like sleeperx8 said, clear corner costs only $60 a pair and still, someone wanna steal it
it is more suck cuz itz the first mod of the owner's first car
sigh...that WB RX-8 is now stock again
but itz ok
cuz i just went pick up a replica Mazdaspeed spoiler today
and wanna kno is there any nice body shop in this area that can paint the spoiler?

 

i know a few...but it depends on how much ur willing to spend and how great of a job...i can take u to a spot for $100...but its gonna look like ****...lemme know how much u wanna spend...and im sure i can find u a spot..couple of my buddies own shops.... M1 Autobody...DTM Autohaus.... AK1 Motorsports....lemme know...
