Look for Xped in the Malibu thread. He installed his Racing Beat springs himself and said that he rented a spring compessor from Autozone. He may be able to give you some more info on doing it yourself...or check the DIY threads. Good luck. I am looking at getting the MS suspension/sway setup soon, so let me know how your install goes.

i did my springs i wish i would of just took them to someone they were a bitch but its worth a try if u dont have the cash as far sways go kwescott they r easy to install only hard part is getting the front bar thew the gap in front of the motor

 

Also as a reminder, if you guys need parts for the RX-8 than let me know. My cousin can get them cheap. No, he doesnt steal them. He is an importer and exporter, so he can get **** for wholesale and cheaper. Let me know, peace. Omar let know and i will go and help, i have nothing to do anyways.

Hey I'm from Chino Hills but im more familiar with Diamond Bar and have seen a lot of rx-8's. I went to lollicup just now and this one old asian guy was telling me about how there some group in diamond bar that meet up with a rx-8 group of guys from rancho like every month. Just want to know if any of you guys heard about that. Well im hitting up GMR with a group of guys after school around tomorrow 2/10.

San Bernardino monthly meet is tomorrow (Saturday 2/11/06). There is a meet location at the Farmer Boys off of Cherry and the 10 freeway (7:45 for breakfast...we leave from there at 8:30 to get to Pirate City Tattoo). Or if that is too early for you, you could always just meet at Pirate City Tattoo at 9:00. Check the first page of the San Bernardino thread for the address of Pirate City Tattoo and for driving directions. We will be leaving from Pirate City tattoo around 10:15 for our drive.

 

Thanks a lot, dont think i'll be able to make the meet this month, leving for San Diego tonight... =\ But hopefully i can make next months. Any of you guys goin to the D1 drift show in Irwindale on March 4th or 5th? I remember seeing a few rx-8's in the lot on the last one. Anyway, just let me know if there are any other meets, i'd like to go to at least one of them.

 

Most of those guys you'll find in the "LAX area meet" thread. I wanted to go, but had an autocross event that same weekend. A lot of the guys in the San Bernardino meet are starting to get into Autocrossing. There is usually an event once a month at the Fontana Speedway, and another once a month down at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego. Saturdays are practive event days open to anyone who can pre-register, and Sundays are Championship runs open to anyone who has registered for Cal Club (for Fontana) or for San Diego region (for Qualcomm).

Anyways, maybe we'll catch up at an area meet or event down the road.
