Major Announcements

With the event only 4 days away, I want to let everyone know of the following changes.


1. The Standby list for both Saturday and Sunday has been eliminated

2. This is a Closed-Event reserved only for active participants

Due to rain in the forecast and the VERY limited space we will have at SR Motorcars, I'd like to minimize the number of people at this event to active dyno participants and those having installs / services performed by BHR / SR only.
The rain has thrown us a curve ball this year and for safety reasons I simply cannot have 50+ people crammed into a dyno bay while we tune cars or have everyone crowding SR's small customer lobby.

If your are not listed in the 1st post, I encourage you to tune in via our live webcast instead.

Hey what if we had paid for a shirt and had planned on coming out to hang out with the SoCal crew?

Yup you are likly to encounter snow on your way in....I am hoping not to as the really bad stuff is not supposed to hit until Friday evening. The weather peeps are calling for snow showers in Vegas on Saturday so I am worried about getting over the pass and home on Sunday.

I will look for some locally and bring it with me.

 

I've been in Norcal for a couple of days. I was really fortunate coming down. Just a bit of snow on the side of the road. No ice and the gravel swept off the road. Not looking the same going home though.

Hopefully you do not have issues getting to LA.

What should people be bringing for the group? I already bought a case of water and a large pack of small bags of chips. I can bring other stuff as well if anyone is maintaining a list and can tell me what is needed. Is beer going to be allowed?

 

Planning on either Sunday night or Monday morning. If the weather sucks then can you check into bringing a friend to work day

 

map: I believe a few people are bringing donuts, those typically are popular in the mornings.
water / drinks are a good idea as well, it'll be a long day.

I'd like to shy away from alcohol as some people got too carried away with the drinking last year.

 

yeah.. drinking during the dyno day gets out of hand pretty quickly. Now there may be an after event on Sunday.... unless you're a douche, then forget i said anything

 

Lol drinking at last years event lead to face full of penises and a certain someone passed out in the trash hahaha cough cough
