Turnbull Canyon *MEET*
Has anybody heard about this place in rose hills? It has an amazing course set up... if you really want to know what you and your rx-8 is made of this is the SPOT.... We should have a cruise for those 8's that are located in the OC/LA area 
Alot of evo's, STI, 350'z are spoted testing there drifting skills at this location....
BUT HERES IS MY WARNING:
ALOT of people crash....turnbull canyon rd is for EXPERTS ONLY!!!! MANY people compare this place to the ebisu mountains located in japan....

and the 605 N for those in the OC
Exit BEVERLY BLVD AND MAKE A LEFT TOWARDS THE MOUNTAINS with rose hill sign then you will see turnbull canyon rd on the left

turnbull isnt that crazy...the other spot is...i think Azuza canyons? my friend drifted off the cliff..it was closed for over a month...turnbull is cool...but not that crazy....i used to take my 1991 mazda 626 there..haha

uh.... i used to be there like 3 times a week. its nothing. its fun and all. but its red light man. too many cops go up there. honestly if you wanna know what your rx8 is made of. go to the tracks. i stopped going up to these places, cause too many people crash. its not worth it. i know this course like the back of my hand. if you wanna go up on canyons. go angel crest and gmr.

I'm familiar with Turnbull. It's a nice road, but not "expert" status by any means. Azusa / GMR is good but too scary at night and too much of a cop magnet. I prefer Malibu or Lil' Tujunga. Also, in San Diego, Palomar is a good high-speed road or you can hit Highland Valley Road near Escondido, as well as the 79 out east on the way to Julian (Engineer's Road is expert level).

(re: Turnbull video) I think I'll stick to my solo midnite runs. Running up on horses, crossing double yellows, passing, and crashing during the MIDDLE OF THE DAY is not my idea of fun. Thanks for the warning though.

i went there once a month
last time i went was past thursday at midnight and we stay up there till 1
really nothing happened even u go there at midnight
never see any cops up there and for real...itz not really an expert status
Azusa is way nicer but itz a little bit far from where i am, so i go turnbull more often
