Only one car will be chosen? Or are you doing multiple variations?

Im sure its more than one Outlaws... hard to believe a company like Aerowerks would mass distribute a bodykit based on a sample size of one. Throw in your app too before others do!

Thanks for all the replys and interest in testing our MS Style Urethane Kit.

As far as how many people we are choosing, it is only one since we're only distributors. By this I mean that the Kit is already made but we're testing it to see if we wish to distribute it in the US Market. So if it does go well, we will immediately recieve a mass shipment from Japan , making it available to those who wish to purchase it.

By the way, the application process will end Monday Midnight (PST). To be completely fair, we will not for any reason recieve applications after that time period.

Thanks again!

But doesn't your parents own the car? Since you're still a minor, and they bought the car, does that mean he would need his parents consent to have their car modified?

Just out of curiosity, what is the selection criteria? Are you going to do a random drawing or is there a "specific" car that will suit your needs for this process?

Funny outlaw xP Actually Im turning 18 very soon :D

My parents have the "it's your car, your responsibility. You do whatever you want to the car, but don't come crying to us for money" kind of mentality. True the car is under my father's name but its mine and no one else drives it xP

But I mean, legally you would need your dad's signature then for them to work on the car. I was wondering if this was the case that's all.

I'm sure there is a liability form you'll have to sign for them to even start putting anything on the car, that's why I mentioned it. But since the owner is under your dad, he would have to sign it.

The application process is not random. Instead, we take your provided answers and pick who we believe will best fit the needs of this particular fitment. The decision process will be made not by a single person but by a group of individuals who are overseeing the test fitment of this particular kit.

In regards to legal age, forms will have to be signed so the person who the car is registered under will have to be the consenting party.

Keep the apps coming!

Hope this answers your questions,
Thanks again!

The application period for the Test Fitment of our RX-8 MS Style Urethane Kit has officially ended. Please do not send any additional applications. We will carefully review all applicants and e-mail the selected individual in a day or two.

After the entire process has been completed we will post pictures of the results regardless whether we decide to distribute the kit or not. Please check back for updates and please feel free to leave any questions that you may still have.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and interest in testing our kit. For those who did not get a chance to apply for the test fitment but would like to be on our official MS Style Urethane Kit mailing list, please provide us with your information at aerowerksonline@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
AeroWerksOnline

Dang it, I didn't get any e-mail to test the kit... so who was the lucky individual? Remember to take some pics of the process and tell us objectively how does the kit handle.

Maybe they can show us at the next SoCal RX meet on June 5th... would love to see how it turns out if it's done by then.
